Danica Does It, Kyle Triples It, Power Ends It

In my vain attempt for a witty title, there you go.

This weekend was momentous for numerous reasons. We have Danica Patrick winning at Twin Ring Motegi, getting the monkey off her back about not winning. Kyle Busch put his Toyota in victory lane for the 3rd consecutive time in the Nationwide Series, while Will Power wrote the final chapter in Champ Car by winning the Toyota Long Beach Grand Prix. You know, I still find irony about Champ Car being the only series that competed in the US this weekend, as Nationwide and IndyCar were in Mexico and Japan, respectively. The fact that Danica won in Japan, on fuel mileage, without the new Champ Car threats was almost cruel, giving her doubters ample ammuntion about not having anyone left to race against. Fact is, she still beat Helio, Dixon, Wheldon, Kanaan, and many others. Strategy counts, folks. You have to put yourself into a position to win, and she did just that.

This was the last weekend off for Sprint Cup for a while, and I hope everyone is excited about Talladega this weekend.
